Cameron and I visited a "tetería" the other day - a tea shop. Tea at the tetería is not like American or English tea - we tried "Sueños de la Alhambra" (dreams of the Alhambra) and it was fruity and rich. We split one pot of tea and two crepes (strawberry and banana, and lemon and sugar).
Our tetería is nestled at the foot of Sacremonte and had six tiny tables, each with its own candle, pot of sugar and hookah. The walls and ceiling are draped in fabric and it definitely gives its visitors the feeling of having escaped into an exotic corner of the world. It was a nice rest for the two of us after a day of sightseeing.
