Sunday we spent the afternoon lounging in the park, eating a picnic we packed and watching all of the people around us. The weather was gorgeous, though a bit blustery, and it seemed that all of London was out in the parks! I've never seen Kensington Gardens so crowded! It was nice to spend some quiet time to enjoy the weather and rest. Saturday we had a scare that involved a visit to the hospital - not much sightseeing from the window of the emergency room! Everyone is healthy, families are informed, and we got to see the National Healthcare System in action -- though we would have rather spent the day walking by the Thames or through Covent Garden. The rest of the weekend was spent taking it easy and hanging out with each other around Kensington. You can see Part I of Cameron's trip here. These are some pictures from our picnic:
